Piggly Wiggly will soon offer consumer goods manufacturers a new digital advertising program intended to simultaneously enhance the consumer experience.

The grocer will become one of the first retailers to adopt Mercatus’ Digital Advertising solution, which aims to elevate the shopper experience through relevant product advertisements and discoverability opportunities.

Piggly Wiggly, which has teamed with Mercatus since 2017, is also extending its partnership for Mercatus’ Integrated Commerce platform, aiding the grocer in offering curbside pickup services at 27 of its 96 brick-and-mortar locations.

Its Digital Engagement solutions provide Piggly Wiggly with branded online shopping experiences across web, tablet and mobile devices, while the Digital Commerce solutions enable store managers to update information like product availability and promotional offers.
